Pinie has been producing wooden planes since 1932 and to this day wooden planes represent the core of the company's production. We offer a wide range of planes for various tasks, equipped with varying blade widths with varying qualities.
Pinie plane blades feature a newly angled 28-degree bevel. This blade ensures longer edge retention and easier sharpening. Unlike standard blades that require full surface grinding, only the bevel needs sharpening.
Plane types include:
- Scrub
- Bench
- Jack
- Smoothing
- Rabbet
- Jointer
- Toothing
Pinie planes are available in three distinct product lines:
- EKO: The most affordable line of planes with solid beech body and all the aspects of full-featured carpenters plane.
- Classic: As the name suggests, this is a classical type of wooden plane. It has some features of the premium line, e.g. solid hornbeam sole or ergonomic body.
- Premium: Designed to satisfy the requirements of today's customers. Practical innovation is the adjustable blade mechanism, which allows easy and quick setup even for beginners. We introduced this type in 2017.
